Holds a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School, B.S. in psychology/political science from St. John Fisher College. Currently serves the YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County as a member of the Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Donor Development Committee. A past President of the Junior League of Rochester, she has held numerous positions in the Pittsford PTSA including Chairperson at Allen Creek Elementary School. She has served other community organizations, as a member of the Steering Committee and Board of Directors of the Leadership Rochester leadership-training program, and as a Community Advisory Board member for the Strong Families/Strong Communities program at Strong Memorial Hospital. Lennox was appointed to the Board of Education in September 2003,elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2006.

Member of the Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency’s HEALTHI KIDS Policy team. Meals on Wheels volunteer. Member and past delegate of the Chatham Woods Homeowners Association.
