Saving Digital Work Files:
Saving Files at school:
Students save their files to their own folder on the H: on the district provided, password protected server. Students may also save group project files on a Student Shared drive Students may email work files to teachers via email from home, teachers' email addresses are available from the district district directory
Transporting Digital Files to Home:
It is recommended that students use a USB Flash Drive to carry files between home and school. Purchasing USB Flash Drives guide line: - Look for a Flash Drive design that provides a lanyard loop on the drive its self and NOT the drive's cap. The sliding flash drives that self protect are good - Ensure that the Flash Drive is 'plug and play'. DO NOT purchase a Flash Drive with additional security programs, these are difficult for students to use at school as the district network will not permit students to download software. - Select a Flash Drive memory size that is reasonable - !GB is more than enough, 512KB is also just right ( if you can still buy that size!) - PLEASE label teh USB Flash Drive with your student's name
