Pittsford Nordic Varsity Parents' Meeting

Below please find documents from our parent information meeting.

~There is a downloadable Bristol Pass Form - $50/skier - optional but if you decide not to purchase the pass there will be a $10 fee / race. The pass is good for a skier to train, race and ski at Bristol Summit Nordic Center any time throughout the season.

Add your self to the team email group - link available from the team website or directly from here

ALL skiers must sign the Code of Conduct - this is a seasonal district requirement
We ask that ALL skiers read the team expectations, determine a goal singn it and return it to the coaches.
To make life easier there is ONLY one sheet for both the skier's goal AND the Code of Conduct at this link

HIPPA  Medical Information Release form needed but optional - this is a one time form per athletes sports life!

Various Racing opportunities available in addtion to the scholastic racing program

Parent Volunteers are needed for helping out at Races - there is volunteer training as posted on the web site  - this is a great way to really understand what the racing is all about - Pittsford Nordic is meant to contribute 8 volunteers to the pool -we are up to 6 currently - thank you. If you want to volunteer please contact Terri Pavia at   mpavia3@rochester.rr.com

Need parents are also needed to host friday night Pasta dinners
- to donate cans of cocoa to the team for the Hot Chocolate Angels
- parents will be contacted about sending food for after racing - this will be done aphabetically and you will be notified!
- please contact one of the captains for any addtional information on these matters - captian's  information is avaialable on your parent info sheet linked here

Rentals from SNOW

Purchase from SNOW and Park Ave Bike  - some years we will have a team night - this will be advertized to you

PLEASE - if you are new to this sport do not purchase equipment without consulting the coaches -and do not panic about getting equipment - you will get tons of help from us - PLEASE!!

Fund raising - as noted in the PPT - any money raised goes towards maintaining the groomer, snow fencing and waxes for the team
