General Information

CLOTHING

running gear in layers for dry land training as well as skiing

jacket/fleece/vest/wind breaker and wind pants all for layering as weather gets colder

thin gloves as well as a warmer pair

socks that are not cotton

hat!! earmuffs or warm headband...we are not going to worry about "hathair"...we are going to stay warm and safe!

FORMS/FEES

Code of Conduct (link) if they haven't already signed one this year

Nurse health clearance athlete cannot practice without clearance by the nurse

$50 race/training pass for Bristol Nordic Pass Form xc ski trails...complete the form and turn in check to Coach Metzler. We will take a group bus trip to Bristol to get passes

volunteer to provide race day snacks and some time officiating

come cheer on your skier at races

or put on a pair of skis yourself and enjoy the snow!

 PRACTICE starts 11/30, 3:30 – 5:00, at BRMS

Skiers go to after-school study hall. CRMS students take the sports shuttle bus to BRMS. Parents, pick up students in front of BRMS at 5pm

Watch this update on web for instructions regarding practice, and when to bring your equipment to school…if there’s no snow initially, we will let you know what to do.
