    This website is for you to explore!  It is designed as an opportunity to link what we are doing in school with life at home.  Frequent communication is key to a successful school year.  I hope that this site serves you and your family well and is a tool to assist your child during his/her fifth grade year.

  • All About Me

    My name is Kate Milne and this will be my eleventh year teaching at Allen Creek Elementary!  I live with my husband (Cody), son (Asher, 3 yo), daughter (Willow, 4 mo), and adorable dog (Wesley aka 'Bubba', 6 yo).

    This will be my second year teaching 5th grade, with most of my time spent in 4th, and two years of 1st grade sprinkled in.  I have really enjoyed teaching 5th, especially two sections of math.  It is amazing how much growth happens over the course of the school year!

    When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to concerts, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  I am looking forward to another great year at Allen Creek!
