Welcome to the CRMS Counseling Website!
The Calkins Road Counseling staff is committed to helping all students become effective learners, achieve personal and social goals, and develop into responsible, contributing members of society. The counselors respond to the needs of students and parents in proactive and preventative ways through individual and group counseling, classroom instruction, parent-teacher conferences, and professional and teacher consultations.
Counseling services are made available to students in a number of ways. Developmentally appropriate classroom lessons include a focus on respect, bullying and harrassment, and career exploration. Students are also seen in small groups. Please contact the counseling center for additional information.
Each counselor works with specific core teams. In most cases, students remain with their same school counselor throughout their three years here at CRMS.
There are also social workers available to work with families through Pittsford Youth Services. For more information about this service, please contact the counseling office.
