    education: graduated Penfield High School in 1989; BA in English literature, Gettysburg College, 1993; MS in teaching and curriculum, University of Rochester, 1995

    professional experience: While I student-taught in Gettysburg, PA, my entire teaching career has been here in Pittsford. I've taught in Pittsford since 1993--full time at Mendon since 1995.  At Mendon, I was department leader from 2001-2013, directed and produced plays and musicals, been a class advisor, advisor to the literary magazine, fashion club, and book club, Gay-Straight Alliance and served on too many school and district committees to list.
