MHS Spring 2024 Musical Production of

The Musical Pit Orchestra is an audition-based group for select students in grades 9 – 12 that meets twice weekly in the large ensemble rehearsal room from early January through the mid-March performances.  Auditions for the Pit Orchestra will occur in late Decembler.  It is expected that students will commit to the rehearsal time frame to the best of their ability.  Concert dress for shows is all black (black shirt, pants/skirt and shoes) in order to not be seen.  Show performances have been scheduled on the following dates:

March 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in MHS auditorium

March 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in MHS auditorium

March 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in MHS auditorium

March 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in MHS auditorium

American musical theater has a long history of colorful characters, crazy antics, remarkable situations and catchy songs filled with excitement and emotion.  Providing the music for all this is a magical experience that many pit orchestra musicians fall in love with and can’t wait to recapture year after year.
