Real learning happens most readily when it is pleasurable, personal, useful, and driven by the learner.  We value most the knowledge that we can apply to our own experiences, and that enlightens and enriches our lives and minds.  In the end there is very little difference between teaching and learning; it is the shared encounter, the discussion, the journey, that comprises our education.
