What's due?

  • Unit 2 Quiz- Thursday, October 27th (short, 10 minutes)

    •Organization of periodic table (groups/families, periods, reactivity)
    •Electrons- configurations, excited vs ground state, spectral lines, Lewis dot   structures, octet rule (duet for small atoms)
    •Reactivity of elements
    •Allotropes
    •Metals, nonmetal, metalloids

     

    Unit 2 Cumulative Exam- Wednesday, November 2nd 

    •Exam is cumulative-  will cover mostly the current Periodic Table Unit 2, but also the Intro Math Unit, and the Atomic Structure Unit 1
    •
    •You should be studying from all past materials, including study guides, tests, quizzes, as well as handouts and class notes.

     

    Lab Due Dates:

    Per 4:   Isotopes of Pennium Lab is due Monday, October 31st

      Mole of m & m’s Lab is due Monday, October 31st

     

    Per 6,9:   Isotopes of Pennium Lab 4 is due Wednesday, October 26t

        Mole of m & m’s Lab 5 is due Monday, October 31st

     

    Per 2:   Isotopes of Pennium Lab 4 is due Thursday, October 28th
