Financial Aid
-
As part of the financial aid process, students, along with their parents/guardians need to fill out the Free Application For Student Assistance (FAFSA). The deadline for students entering college in the fall of 2019 is June 30, 2019. Students entering college in the fall of 2020 can begin to fill out the FAFSA starting October 1, 2018. You should fill it out as soon as possible on or after October 1 at the official government site, fafsa.gov, or follow the link below. Students will need assistance/income information from their parents/guardians.
Completing the FAFSA is the first step into securing the possibility of receiving grants, scholarships, or student loans once you apply to a college or university. Financial aid is often awarded by some schools on a first come first serve basis, so it is important that your FAFSA information is on record with the schools either before or soon after your student applies. In addition, some colleges and universities require the CSS Profile (College Scholarship Service, administed by the College Board). Please check with the financial aid offices at the colleges you will be applying to. See the link below.
