Mr. Quinlan has been teaching band in the Pittsford school district since 2007.  He has been in his current position at Barker Road Middle School since 2013.  Before that, he taught in Glencoe, IL for 11 years. 

He graduated with a BM from Ithaca College in 1993 and received an MM from Northwestern University in 1995.

Mr. Quinlan is an active musician in many ensembles including the Music Educator's Wind Ensemble, Music Educator's Jazz Band, Cordancia, and many other local area groups.

In Mr. Quinlan's free time, he likes to watch horror movies, he enjoys attending concerts and he is that one guy you've heard about that still collects CDs.  He currently has approximately 17000 CDs, mostly in the rock and heavy metal genres.  He also has about 1000 Blu-rays and DVDs.
