My name is Kathy Rudd and I am one of the Reading Specialists at Allen Creek Elementary School! This will be my 10th year teaching at Allen Creek and my 15th year of teaching overall. I love teaching reading! I am so lucky I get to teach children how to read everyday at Allen Creek!  I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your child this year.  I live in Pittsford with my husband, and our son and daughter.  I also have a cat, Java, and a dog, Guinness.  Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends.  In my free time I enjoy reading a good book while drinking a cup of coffee!  I enjoy cooking and baking as well.   I also enjoy spending time outside, and I have run 3 half marathons, including the Princess 1/2 Marathon in Disney World!  I am a big sports fan and love watching the New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and our hometown Rochester Red Wings!  I am looking forward to another wonderful school year at Allen Creek!
