ARRIVAL and DISMISSAL

Students arriving after the scheduled arrival times are considered tardy. If a child is tardy, he/she should stop in the office to sign in. The classroom teacher is responsible for informing the office when a child is late or absent from school.

Children should not arrive in the building before the designated arrival time of 8:30 a.m. for Kindergarten, and grades 1-5. The staff is unable to provide supervision for the students before these times unless they have a note of permission from a staff member.

At dismissal time, the students are escorted to their buses by their teachers. Any students who need to be picked up should meet the adult picking them up at the main office and should be signed out. There is no after school supervision for students unless arrangements have been made with a staff member.
