How to Add a Printer

Hold down Windows key and hit R.
When presented with run window type in: \\printserver and hit return. You will see a list of all networked printers in the district. Double click on the printer you wish to add and the drivers will be installed and that printer will now appear as a choice when you go to print.
Use MFD devices (copiers) whenever possible to print, especially for large jobs or confidential jobs that you wish to pick up at a later time. Swipe in with your badge and release your print jobs at a time that is convenient for you.
Set a Default Printer

Using the Search Windows icon in the system tray at the bottom of the screen, begin to type in "default printer." Once the choice appears click on it. You will see a list of all of the printers available on your computer. Click on the printer you want to set as your default and then click on the Manage button that appears. You will now be able to click on button "Set as default."
Displaying Your Screen

If you have a second display or projector attached to your computer, you can decide which displays you want to appear.
Hold down the windows key and hit P and you will see choices:
PC Screen only
Duplicate - you want same image on your computer as on the screen/Smartboard
Extend - use to separate different windows open onto different screens (multi-tasking between applications)
Second screen only
