Hello! My name is Ms. Weinmann! I am so excited to be teaching 4th Grade here at Jefferson Road! I look forward to creating memorable moments with you throughout your 4th Grade year!

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Gates and Greece, just outside of Rochester, NY! My daughter, Nora, who will be in 5th Grade this fall is my pride and joy! You'll hear a lot about her! My parents still live in the home that I grew up in from the age of five until twenty-five! I am VERY close with my family! My older brother, Todd and his husband, Chris, live about twelve minutes away from my home in Webster, so they are really close by! My younger sister, MaryBeth, just moved back to the area with her family after living in Philadelphia, PA, for four years. I have two nieces and one nephew that I am sure you'll hear me talk about this school year too!

After graduating from the Aquinas Institute, I went on to SUNY Oswego, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. After graduating from Oswego, I went right on to get my master's degree in Special Education from Nazareth College! This year will be my seventeenth year teaching! Prior to coming to Jefferson Road, I taught 3rd Grade for sixteen years at Mendon Center Elementary! 

When I am not teaching, I LOVE spending time with my daughter, my family, and my friends. I also enjoy running (not long distances, about 2-3 miles works for me!), doing Crossfit (I am going way out of my comfort zone this summer and doing a huge competition with three of my friends!), being artistic and crafty, relaxing at home with a good book, hiking, doing yoga, and going to new places! Rochester is full of things to do and experience! Last but not least, I LOVE  and miss my little pUpperoni, Elwood, who I had to put down in 2019. You'll surely hear a lot of stories about him too!
