PTSA Celebrate With a Book Program

Holidays, birthdays, and significant events are special times, both at home and at Mendon Center Elementary. Classmates and teachers share these celebrations with your child. One possible way to recognize one of these events in your child’s life is to participate in MCE’s Celebrate With a Book Club. By donating a book to our MCE library in your child’s name, you will teach the value of giving and help our library grow! (Please note, this does not replace donations to classroom libraries, orparents coming in to read a book on their child’s birthday) Your gift book to the library will be recognized several ways
- A bookplate stating your child’s name, the date of the gift, and the occasion.
- Your child will be the first to sign out the book after it is presented to him or her during class library time.
Please complete the form attached if you are interested in supporting the Celebrate With a Book Program and return it to school along with a check made payable to MCE PTSA. You may return the attached form to your child's teacher at any time during the school year. However, it may take up to 4 weeks before the book is presented to your child during library, so please plan accordingly.
