About Mrs. Luta

I grew up in Chili, NY. I graduated from Churchville-Chili Senior High School. Then, I attended St. John Fisher College for my Bachelor's in Science in Childhood and Special Education with a minor in Psychology. I also have my Master's of Science in Reading and Literacy from SUNY Geneseo. I have been a Reading Teacher for one year, and taught 6th grade ELA for three years. I have taught 3rd grade at PRE for two years. I am very excited to be at PRE again with you in 1st grade! 

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family. I have been married to my husband for six years and we have a four-year-old son named Jax, and a one-year-old son named Henry. It's fun watching them grow up together! You might see me at various playgrounds, Seneca Park Zoo, or The Strong Museum with them :) I also love DIY projects, going to the movies, and creating personalized projects through my Etsy shop. I also have two cats. A boy named Felix, and and girl named Jade. They love sleeping and running after each other at all hours of the night!
