• Painting and Drawing I builds basic skills and techniques with a variety of wet and dry media. Students focus on observational skills, composition, and building confidence in their own art making. This course develops growth in the areas of painitng and drawing.

    Painting and Drawing II continues the study of mark making skills with a variety of media but is also about thinking conceptually. How do you get an idea across visually - what media should you use to best express your concept? There is continued experimentation with media, writing and sketching, developing works of art fully to build more dramatic compositions.
