Hello!  Welcome to my page!  I am honored and humbled to be the first full-time social worker in the Pittsford Central School District.  I am excited to be a part of the Counseling Department and to work with the staff and administration in promoting wellness in the areas of mental health and social-emotional skills for the students here at Sutherland.

Some things about me:  Some areas of specific training include child development, attachment and loss, trauma, and play therapy.  I have worked in systems such as foster care, residential, teen and young mothers, and special education.  Outside of work I enjoy backpacking, playing guitar, yoga, CrossFit, BBQing, and checking out the various eating establishments in the area.  My wife and I have a therapy dog, Maya, who used to come daily with me to my old school; I am exploring the possibility of having her join me here so fingers crossed!
