Relaxation Techniques:
Here are a variety of different strategies to help with feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, and depressed. Try different ones to see what works best for you. If it seems weird, that's fine! I used to think this stuff was weird too, but I've seen it work personally and with lots of kids I work with so take a chance and give it a try!!
Guided Meditations:
- UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center I recommend the Loving Kindness Meditation.
- There is also an app for this: UCLA Mindful App
- Smiling Mind App - This is a free app with lots of good stuff!
Grounding Techniques:

- 4-7-8 Breathing Great for relaxing and also to help fall asleep!
