Social Emotional Learning: We would like you to check in with at least two relatives (not in your household) to see how they are doing and if they need anything. Try to do so without using text message or email.
Individual Task: Check with your parents to see where you can bike, hike, or walk for at least 30 minutes.
Family Challenge: Use the Family Olympics Challenge from last week. Choose new activities and restart the score.
Please reach out to us, check in, let us know how your doing, ask questions.
The CRMS Physical Education department is hoping that you can use this extra family time to have fun, stay healthy and be active together. Below you will find a Family Olympics Challenge. We gave you some examples to get you started, but you can add or replace any activity you would like. Have fun and be active together!
Family Olympics Challenge
Points for each activity are based on the # of people in your household
Example: Household of 4 people
Winner of activity gets 4 points, Second place 3 points, Third Place 2 points, Fourth Place 1 Point. Draw the activities out of a hat to determine the order that you will play. Write the activities in order on a chalkboard/whiteboard or sheet of paper to track the scoring. Below are some examples of activities, but feel free to create your own based on what you enjoy doing as a family.
Kan Jam, corn-hole, horse shoes, ping pong, darts, bicycle races, home mini golf, foosball, make an obstacle course, dance competition, track steps for the day, basketball (horse), board games. These are just a few ideas.
