I have enjoyed teaching Latin since 1992 and in Pittsford since 1999. I have taught 7th grade Latin, 8th grade Latin, Latin 1, Latin 2, Latin 3, Latin Literature (dual credit) and AP Latin. This year I am excited that I will be teaching a new course for me - 6th grade Latin. During these years, I have advised Latin Club and have co-chaired the New York State Junior Classical League. During 2019 and 2020, I have contributed and participated in committees which developed new learning standards for the New York state curricula for the various Latin levels. 

Since 2012 I have been the Sutherland's world language department leader.

I have earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Binghamton University.

I enjoy hiking, and I am involved in Boy Scouts.
