Achievement Club
How does Achievement Club work? This club takes place during snack time, or RTI time. When you are being tested you may not use any notes to assist you. In order to pass all words must be spelled correctly and you must receive no more than 1 incorrect answer. If you do not pass, you may try again as soon as the next day.
The Challenges: Lists of the challenges are available below along with some suggested websites to help you complete your research (although you can use any website, or book you wish). You can pick and choose which challenges are interesting to you. You do not have to go in order, or even complete all of the challenges. The last date to participate in a challenge will be Friday, June 9th.
Award Certificates: Every child who participates and passes a minimum of 1 Achievement Club assessment will receive a certificate of participation in an award ceremony to be held at the end of the year.
Hall of Fame: Students who pass 15 Achievement Club challenges will be added to the Hall of Fame which will be hung in the classroom and left hanging until I retire. The top achieving boy and girl(must have completed more than 15 Achievement clubs) in the class will be treated to a dinner out with Mrs. Hosbach at the end of the school year.
