Hello! I am Kim Hosbach, and I will be your teacher this year.  I am so excited to have you in my class and look forward to getting to know you.  But before we do that, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. 

I have been a teacher for 20 years - most of those years have been spent in 4th grade at MCE.  4th is my FAVORITE grade level.  We have so much fun and learn so much.  When I am not teaching I love to garden and decorate my home, or just spend time at home with my husband Scott and our 7 year old Cocker Spaniel, Sadie. 

This summer was very exciting.  We did a lot of traveling and visiting with family and friends.  I traveled to Massachusetts to visit with family, but also to walk 39 miles over 2 days to help raise money for cancer. We went to Florida to visit my husband's family, and to the Gulf of Mexico to visit my brother in his new home.  In addition, we put a pool in last summer, so I spent a lot of time swimming in my backyard.  It was an amazing summer.  I am sad to see it end, but am looking forward to getting back to MCE to meet all of you.
