The Instructional Challenge Specialist supports best practices for high performing and gifted students in the classroom by sharing appropriate instructional strategies and approaches, and helping school staff better understand the cognitive and social emotional development of gifted children.
- Partner with District Leadership to support best practices / district initiatives to provide challenge for high ability students
- Serve on district committees to represent the needs of high performing / gifted students
- Participate in the Gifted and Talented Consortium (BOCES 2)
- Plan and deliver targeted learning opportunities for district staff
