Meet Mrs. Dacey

I have been teaching since 2001. I taught third grade in the Rochester City School District for one year and then continued teaching third grade in the West Irondequoit School District for the following 11 years. When I moved to Pittsford, I taught 1st grade for three years at Thornell Road Elementary School. Then, I taught 3rd grade at Mendon Center Elementary School for two years. I am thrilled to return to TRE to teach first grade. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY and my Master's Degree in Education from SUNY Brockport.  

I live in Mendon with my husband and two sons, Brendan and Patrick. Brendan is 5 and Patrick is 3. We also have a crazy, lovable lab named Kirby. I love spending time with my family and friends, baking cookies, reading, playing softball and doing yoga. I am a huge Syracuse basketball fan!
