English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL)
The
ESL teacher is available to help children for whom English is a second
language-- either because they are from another country or because they
speak a language other than English in their homes. Students are
identified as a result of their parents filling out a Home Language
Inventory form upon their children entering school or by teacher
referrals. Students receive small group instruction in and/or out of
their classrooms to enrich their English reading writing, speech, and
listening skills.
