    Once you have logged into your account you may begin to create your class. We are not loading rosters this year, each teacher will enter the names of the students in their classes directly. I have attached directions at the bottom of this website.

    If you still need to register:

    Registering as a Teacher or Administrator

     

      Note: If you already have a SuccessNet user name and password, you do not need to register again. Registering enables you to set up your user name and password. When selecting your user name and password, remember that both of these fields are case-sensitive.Note: When specifying your user name, it is recommended not to use your full name, e-mail address, social security number, or birth date.

    To register as a teacher or administrator:

     

    1. Go to www.pearsonsuccessnet.com.

    2. On the Welcome page, click Register.
     
    The company will send an email to Maureen Kempski to confirm your registration as a teacher in our district.
     
    4. Click Next.
     

     5. On the Enter Profile page, type your school's Zip code in the Enter Zip code field.

     6. In the Select School or Building list, select your school or building name.
     
    7. Complete the following fields:

    Select Mr., Mrs., or Ms.

    First Name

     

    Type your first name. The maximum length is 64 characters.

     

     

    Note: In general, spaces are accepted; however, do not use spaces at the beginning or end of the first name.
     
     

    Last Name

     

    Type your last name. The maximum length is 64 characters.

     

    Note: In general, spaces are accepted; however, do not use spaces at the beginning or end of the last name.

     
     

    Teacher ID

     

    Type your teacher ID.

     
     

    User name

     

    Type your user name. The maximum length is 120 characters.

     

    Note: Do not use spaces at the beginning or end of the user name.

     

    Password

     

    Type your password. The password must contain at least 8 characters; the maximum length is 32 characters.

     

    Note: Do not use spaces at the beginning or end of the password.

     
     

    Confirm password

     

    Verify your password.

     

    Password hint

     

    Type a hint that will help you remember your password.

     

    Security Question

     

    Select a security question. A security question helps you in case you forget your SuccessNet password.  By answering the security question correctly, you can still log in to SuccessNet.

     
     

    Your answer

     
     

    Type the answer to your security question.

     
     

    Email address

     

    Type your e-mail address.

     

    Note: Do not use spaces at the beginning or end of the e-mail address.

     

    Confirm Email address

     

    Type your e-mail address again to verify it.

     

    8. If you do not want to receive e-mails from Pearson with teaching resources, clear the Join our community of educators today and receive a variety of valuable teaching resources check box.

    9. Click Terms of use to read SuccessNet's Terms of use. Select the check box to indicate that you accept the terms of use.  
     

    10. Click Register. SuccessNet confirms that the selected school owns a license to the products associated with your access code. Your registration is complete when there is a match between the school's license and the access code and all required information is entered.

     
     

    After your registration is complete, you can confirm your registration or log in.

     

    Follow these easy steps to get started once you have registered:

     

    1. Enter into your browser: pearsonsuccessnet.com

     

    2. The home page should now appear.

     

    Follow the directions I have attached to this page but here are some helpful reminders!

     
     

    Click on Classes Tab (in blue banner) and then Build new class.

     

    Give your class a name (don't use your name call it Grade 2 Math or something like that - works better in the parent letter)

     

    Click envision Math Common Core grade # AND envMATH 2012 CC ONLINE SE GRADE #

     
     

    Click the word View under Roster and add your students using this year's directions.

     

    You have now created a class.

     

    AFTER YOUR CLASS is created:

     

    Anytime you log in you can get to your class by clicking on Manage Class.

     

    To Add (or remove) A Student After Roster is Made:

     

    After you log in to Envision click on Classes - Roster and then view. You will see the list of your students. There will be a button that says Add Student. Username is firstnamelastname with no spaces, student id is her six digit number and password is math with a number between 01 and 100 for instance math22. To see passwords for students - print parent letters and they are listed in letter.

     
     

    From here you can choose assignments, reports, notices, or view your roster.

     

    Click the word View under the Roster heading.

     

    Click on appropriate tab to remove, add or edit roster AND IF YOU ARE READY FOR STUDENTS TO BEGIN USING:

     
     

    FOR STUDENTS TO LOGIN:

     

    Click View under the Roster heading.

     

    In header row next to Student Name there is a checkbox. Click in that box and all of your students will be selected.

     

    NEXT - Click the tab that says Print Parent Letter. This will create a letter for each child listing the webpage and their correct USERNAME (FirstnameLastname –no space) and their password (math##)

     

    Here is part of that letter:

     

                                        Enter the URL (site address) -- http://www.pearsonsuccessnet.com

     

                                        Then, use the following information to get started in Ms. deManincor's 2deManincor classroom:

     

                                        Your child's user name: SammyMurphy  (follow whatever unique configuration you chose while creating your class

     

                                        Your child's password: math01 or whatever you set them to be.

                                        Note: User name and password are case sensitive

     

    Congratulations! You should see your home page.

     
     

    This should you get started.

     

    You should have just your grade level show up on the screen, depending on which access code you entered.

     
     

    Teacher Home Page

     
     

    The SuccessNet Home Page is your default view. It provides several options that allow you to perform your tasks. Following is a high-level look at your work environment. It includes Navigation Tabs, the My Teacher Resources section with product thumbnails, and the My Classes and Groups section.

     

    In addition, links to My Account and Logout, Messages, Resources, and online Help are provided along the upper right corner.

     

    Navigation Tabs

     

    The tabs located in the navigation menu along the top of your home page are always available and allow you to navigate through the system. Use them to open different pages and perform various tasks such as view reports, create classes, and look up student information. The navigation menu includes the following tabs:

     

    Home - Click Home to return to your home page.

    Content - Click Content to use one of the available tools to search for specific test and lesson titles.
     
    • Planning- Click Planning to plan and schedule assignments and build new tests.
     
    • Classes- Click Classes to modify learner settings for the students in a specific class, build new classes, and manage your classes.
     

    Reports - Click Reports to access, generate, view, and save a variety of reports, grouped by progress, test scores, mastery, item analysis, and self assessment.

     

    Home Page Overview

     

    Your Home page is divided into two sections to help you move through SuccessNet and quickly jump to pages where the most commonly performed tasks are executed. It is designed so that you can view your classes, available books and resources, and quickly manage your classes.

     

    • My Teacher Resources View and access available subject books and related products.

     

    My Classes and Groups - View and access student rosters, reports, assignments, and assessments.

     

     My Teacher Resources

     

     The My Teacher Resources section displays links to interactive resources, teacher and student editions of online books, and additional resources for teachers that are available to you. 

     
     

    Four products appear per page. If you have access to more than four products the following occurs:

     

    Right and left arrows appear, allowing you to browse to browse to additional pages and products. Note that on the first page no arrow pointing left and on the last page no arrow pointing right is available.

    In addition, a  page selector becomes available, allowing you to browse to additional pages and products.
     

     

    To select a book:

     

    1.Click the product thumbnail to open the Content tab and display the table of contents for the book.

     

     2.To close the book and return to your Home page, click the Home tab.

     

     3.Click one of the links available below the product thumbnail to open related items, for example Teacher Editions, Interactive Digital Path versions, or Student Editions.

     

     If a product has more than four resources, the Other Resources link is available.

     

    1. Click Other Resources to open the list of resources.

     

     My Classes and Groups

     

     The My Classes and Groups section includes all of your classes and groups, each with the Assessment At-A-Glance indicator.

     

    Two classes or groups appear per page. If you have more than two classes, a  page selector is available, allowing you to browse to additional classes or groups.
     

     

    The name of a class is located in the colored class or group section title bar. Up to 12 different colors make it easier for you to identify various classes.
     
     

    Each class or group area includes the following categories:

     
     

     Current Assignments lists the three upcoming assignments assigned to the class.

     

    Click an assignment link. The Edit Test Assignment page for that assignment appears.

     

    Click the View All Assignments link. The Planning tab opens and the Assignments page appears.

     
     

     Reports lists the following four reports, if the reports are available for the class.

     

    Lesson Progress

    Test Scores
     

    Mastery

    Item Analysis
     

     

    Manage Classes

     

     To modify a class or group:

     

    In the My Classes and Groups title bar, click Manage Classes. The Classes tab opens and the My Classes and Groups page appears where you can view detailed information about the group, the class access code, the assignments, reports, notices, and the class roster. Further, you can use the My Classes and Groups page to add and delete classes and groups.

     

    Assessment At-A-Glance

     

    Assessment At-A-Glance is a student performance progress bar. The text right below the progress bar reveals how many assignments have been completed, for example, 3 of 7 assignments have been completed.

     

    The progress bar shows you a snapshot of the student performance for the selected class or group. The following table explains the progress indicator:

     

     

    Color

    Indicates the percentage of completed tests with ...
     

     Green a score between 86 and 100%

    Yellow a score between 61 an 85%
     
    Red a score between 0 and 60%
     

     

    To use the Assessment-At-A-Glance feature:

     

    Click an Assessment At-A-Glance progress bar to open the Reports tab and display the Classroom Test Scores report.

     
     

     Assigning Activities

     

    Use the procedure below to assign activities to your students.

     

    Note: This option is not available for all products.

     

    To assign an activity to your students:

     

    1.On your home page, click Go to Assignments. The My Assignment List appears.

     

    -or-

     

    Click the Manage Classroom Activities link. The My Assignment List appears.

     

    1.Click Assign Activities. The Assign Activities wizard appears.

     

    2. Complete Step 1 of the Assign Activities wizard.

     

    In the Assign from list, select the product.

     

    In the first Find activities based on list, select a Framework. The list includes the product's skill or your own State standards. Select the set of skills or standards.

    In the second Find activities based on list, a smaller list of choices displays based on the selections you made in Step 4. Select the subject.

    In the third Find activities based on list, a smaller list of choices displays based on the selections you made in the above steps. Select the strand or category.
     

     Click Next to proceed to Step 2 of the Assign Activities wizard.

    1.Complete Step 2 of the Assign Activities wizard.

    Select the check boxes for items you want to browse to find activities. To select all items, click the check box located in the title bar.
     

    Click Next to proceed to Step 3 of the Assign Activities wizard.

     

    1.Complete Step 3 of the Assign Activities wizard.

    Select the check boxes for items you want to browse to find activities. To select all items, click the check box located in the title bar.

    Click Next to proceed to Step 4 of the Assign Activities wizard. A list of activities for each skill that you selected appears.
     

     1.Complete Step 4 of the Assign Activities wizard.

    Select the check box of each activity you want to assign to students. To select all activities, click the check box located in the title bar.
     

    Click the linked activity name. The activity appears on the Activity Page.

    Click Next to assign the selected activities to either your entire class or to selected students only.
     
     

    Complete Step 5 of the Assign Activities wizard.

    Click Assign to the entire class/group.
     

    -or-

     

    Click Selected students. A list of the students in your class appears.

     
     

    To assign the activities to all listed students, select the check box next to Students.

     

    -or-

    Select the students that you want assigned to the activities.

     

    Click Next. All activities are assigned and your My Assignment List page appears.

     
     

    Step 1 - Selecting Search Options

     

    Your Success Tracker product contains numerous learning activities to assist your students. To help you find the right activities, the Assign Activities wizard guides you through broad categories first, then more specific activities, until you find the proper activities to assign to your students.

     

    Selecting broad search options is the first step in assigning activities to your students.

     

    To select your assignment search options:

     

    1.In the Assign from list, select the product.

    2.In the first Find activities based on list, search by the product's skill or your own state standards. Select the skill or standard.
     

     3.In the second Find activities based on list, a smaller list of choices displays based on the selections you made in Step 2. Select a subject.

     

     4.In the third Find activities based on list, a smaller list of choices displays based on the selections you made in the above steps. Select the strand or category.

     

     5.Click Next to refine your search. Step 2 of the Assign Activities wizard appears.

     
     

    Assignment Preferences

     

     The Assignment Preferences page enables you to set preferences for each of your tests and activities. The preferences you choose apply to all of your classes.

     

     To set your assignment preferences:

     

     

     

    In the Answer choice style list, select one of the following styles if you do not want to use the default setting of A. B. C. ... for online test answers:

     

     

     

    Click to clear the Include audio if available check box, if you do not want to include audio links.

     

     

     

    In the Limit number of activity assignments list, select the maximum number of remediation activities per non-mastered skill that you want the system to assign to your students.

     

     

     

    Click to clear any of the following activity
