The goal of the Pittsford Central School District Elementary ELA Curriculum is for each of our students to become a successful reader, writer, and communicator. Our program is designed to develop in students the ability to communicate their thoughts in writing clearly, coherently and intelligently. We explicitly teach the skills necessary for our students to become lifelong readers and pursue their own goals as independent learners throughout their lives.
