I will be using the Remind app to send out quick messages and photos. The app limits the number of characters, so messages are short. This is app allows me to send a group to text to the class, and receive texts back from parents without any of our phone numbers being displayed.If you have any trouble with this link, check out the attached file below, "Remind App Instructions", for help.

When you have questions or concerns, please e-mail (toni_stevens-oliver@pittsford.monroe.edu) me, rather than sending messages through Remind. 

 Parent-Teacher conferences will be in early December.  The link will take you to the sign-up page where you can select an open time.  You will even receive an e-mail reminder 4 days before your conference!  

We will be doing math homework online through Savvas EasyBridge. Your child will need to use ClassLink to login. You are able to see your child's homework and assessments scores in Savvas. We will have math homework almost every night.

Students will often be asked to do their calculations in their math journal - they do not need to rewrite word problems, or record something that is just an answer, but they do need to show calculations. I ask that they go down the page, numbering each problem and skipping a line between problems. We have gone over this format in class.  In the beginning of the year it takes time to get used to this new routine, and it will take a bit longer to complete at first.
