Induction & Mentor Program
The Pittsford Central School District Mentor Program is part of the District's Induction Program. The purpose of the program is to assist new teachers in making a successful transition to the district.

-Assisting the new teacher
-Meeting with the new teacher on a regular basis
-Observing the new teacher a minimum of 5 times per year
-Meeting with the larger mentor/new teacher group regularly
-Participating in the District's New Staff Orientation Day
-Participating in ongoing professional learning
-Facilitating the growth and development of the new teacher
-Arranging for the new teacher to observe other teachers
