NYLearns contains thousands of aligned and peer reviewed educational resources and instructional content. The different tabs in NYLearns lead you to state-of-the-art tools for teachers such as an ePortfolio, Assessment Builder, Curriculum Matrix Tool, and an ePlanner. All teachers in the district now have full access to NYLearns.
In web browser go to nylearns.org.
In the username box type: lastname space email@example.com
NOTE: there is a space NOT an underscore between your lastname and your firstname.
NOTE: it is pcsd.monroe.edu not pittsford.monroe.edu like our email.
In the password box enter the password you use to login to the computer each day.
**Our login is verified by our Active Directory server so do not use the directions on NYLearns website for creating usernames and passwords.
Then click Sign In to access this screen:
Click on MY Curriculum and then District CMs to access all the work that has been done using our Curriculum Template.
Click on My ePortfolio, create folders as you wish, and add resources from our district and other resources that are available.
Click on My Communities if you have been invited to participate in one of our district communities. If you are interested in beginning a Community, let me know and we will have one set up for you and your colleagues.
If you have any problems: put in Help Desk ticket and type subject: NYLearns
Click on the Support tab on the welcome page after you login to NYLearns.
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT use NYLearns support for username and password issues, or Build a Website – we do not subscribe to that.
