Robin Scott
President
Term Ends: 2026
Robin Scott has been a member of the Pittsford Central School District Board of Education since 2020 and served as Vice President prior to being appointed president. Additionally, Ms. Scott has served on the MCSBA Information Exchange and Legislative committees. As for District or Board committees, she is a member of the Audit Oversight, Town/Village/School District Leadership, PCSD Negotiating team and our Community Engagement team.
Formerly, Ms. Scott served as President of the Pittsford District PTSA, PTSA President-Elect, Vice President of the Education Council, Chair of Enrichment Grants, District PTSA Secretary and Thornell Road School Building Chair. She is a recipient of the 2020 PTSA Honorary Life Membership Award.
Ms. Scott was also a member of the District Planning Team, Inclusivity Advisory Committee, the Code of Conduct Review committee, Teacher Center Policy Board and interview committees. She has participated in Generation Ready workshops and training sessions. Scott has also served with the Rochester chapters of Links Incorporated, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and Girl Scouts of Western New York.
Scott holds a B.A. from Rhodes College in International Studies and an M.A. from the University of Michigan in Near Eastern studies. She is married with one child who graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School.

Jeffrey Casey
President-Elect
Term Ends: 2027
Jeffrey Casey is serving his second term as a member of the Pittsford Central School District Board of Education, and is currently the Vice President.
He is a member of the PCSD Board of Education Audit Oversight Committee and a member of the PCSD Board of Education Communications and Messaging sub-committee.
He is an Attorney and Counsel for the Americas at Cooper Vision, is past chair of the Monroe County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Section, and a volunteer with the University at Buffalo Law School Mentor Program

Sarah Pelusio
Term Ends: 2027
Sarah Pelusio is serving her second term as a member of the Pittsford Central School District Board of Education. She currently serves as the PCSD Board of Education legislative liaison and is a member of the District Advocacy Team and PCSD Board of Education Communications and Messaging sub-committee. Additionally, Pelusio serves as co-chair of the Monroe County School Board Association (MCSBA) Legislative committee and is an active member of the MCSBA Information Exchange, Labor Relations, and Steering committees. Ms. Pelusio is the Legislative Liaison for the Monroe County School Boards Association (MCSBA).
Pelusio has served as Pittsford PTSA Past President, Legislative Chair, and Allen Creek Co-chair. Additionally, Pelusio is a former member of the Pittsford District Planning Team, PCSD Reopening/Scenario Planning Committee, PCSD Instructional Leadership Council, and Parent Advisory Council to the Superintendent.
Pelusio holds a B.S. in Hospitality and Service Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, is married and has three children in the District.

Dave Berk
Term Ends: 2025
Dave Berk is serving his first term on the Pittsford Central School District Board of Education. He currently serves on the Communications and Messaging sub-committee.
He is CEO of Beacon Talent, former Vice President of Marketing at Porch Group (NASDAQ:PRCH), and former Senior Director of Operations at Hired (acquired OTCMKTS: AHEXY).
Berk holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont and is a Sutherland High School graduate. He is married and has two children ages two and four

Kim Huels
Term Ends: 2026
Kim Huels is serving her first term as a member of the Pittsford Central School District Board of Education. She has served as Pittsford Central PTSA President, District Treasurer, Mendon Center Elementary PTSA Building Chair, and Super Sale Chair. Additionally, she has served on the PCSD Advocacy Team and Pittsford Partnership for Community Education.
Huels has served in various PTSA roles at the district and building levels for ten years, is a former Cub Scouts Den Leader and Pack Committee Member, and Odyssey of the Mind coach. She currently volunteers on the events committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester.
Huels holds a B.A. in English and secondary education certification from SUNY Geneseo. She and her husband have two children who attend Barker Road Middle School and Mendon High School.

Emily Kay
Term Ends: 2025
Emily Kay was elected to the Pittsford Central School District Board of Education in 2022 and is serving her first term on the Board. She currently serves as the Board of Education liaison to the Pittsford Teacher Center Policy Board and a member of the BOE subcommittee on Community Engagement. Additionally, Kay serves on the Monroe County School Board Association (MCSBA) Labor Relations and Information Exchange committees.
Kay has served as Mendon Center Elementary School's PTSA secretary, e-news editor, yearbook staff, room parent, Light the Loop volunteer, classroom volunteer, and a member of PTSA QUEST. Kay is also the founder of Teaching Tiny Tales, an online resource for parents and caretakers to promote literacy skills at home. She is a member of the University of Rochester Symphonic Orchestra.
Kay holds a B.A. in English and Spanish from Wake Forest University, is married and has three children: two at Mendon Center Elementary School and one in preschool.

René Sanchez-Kazacos
Term Ends: 2027
René Sanchez-Kazacos has been a member of the Pittsford Board of Education since 2017. She currently serves as a member of the Audit Oversight Committee, member of the Board of Education subcommittee on Community Engagement, and member of the Board of Education subcommittee on Communication and Messaging. She was a Teacher Center Policy Board Board of Education liaison from 2017-2021.
In addition, she is an Educational Coordinator for the National Women’s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, N.Y.
Sanchez-Kazacos has more than 20 years of experience as a public school teacher. She is currently a social studies teacher in the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. Throughout her career as an educator, she has been a member of the New York Council for Social Studies and the Rochester Council for Social Studies. She has been a local member of ED5/6 since 2017, which has allowed her the opportunity to advocate for students and schools by participating in the Committee of 100 in Albany. She has served as a New York State United Teachers voting delegate, and has participated in negotiations for the Annual Professional Performance Review process.
Sanchez-Kazacos received both her B.A. and M.A. in Education from SUNY Fredonia. She and her husband have two children in the District.
