Congratulations to our winter athletes who completed the 2024-25 season with five team Section V titles, eight individual Section V titles and numerous All State, All County and All Greater Rochester athletes. Team Section V champions included Pittsford Girls Alpine, Pittsford Ice Hockey, Pittsford Boys Swimming & Diving, MHS Boys Indoor Track and Field, and SHS Girls Basketball. Individual Section V winners included Pittsford Wrestling champion Zach Gerby and Pittsford Boys Swimming & Diving champions Elliott Cunniffe, Kosta Oluic, Rigo Cunningham, Gage Van Quekelberg, Billy Sanderson, Michael Kusch, and Calvin Braun. The 15th Annual Pink the Rink hockey games brought a big win for all, with $15,000 raised for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.

During this year’s February 1, 2025, event, the Pittsford Panthers hosted back-to-back JV and varsity games against the Victor Blue Devils who they defeated in the varsity game with a score of 5-0. Both teams incorporated pink into their game-day attire as a symbol of solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.

Since its inception in 2010, Pink the Rink has grown into a signature event for Pittsford Hockey, raising over $120,000 to-date.

The 24th annual Rainbow Classic basketball event, held on December 20, 2024, brought the Pittsford community together for a night of spirited competition, all for a great cause. This year’s event raised $31,000 in support of Golisano Children’s Hospital.
