The start of Pittsford’s tennis season was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 8, 2026, celebrating the new courts at Sutherland High School, part of the District’s voter-approved capital project.

The 16^th Annual Pink the Rink on January 31 was a “win-win” as the Pittsford Panther’s varsity hockey team clinched a 4-0 win against the Fairport Red Raiders, and $17,000 was raised for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.

Since its inception in 2010, Pink the Rink has grown into a signature event for Pittsford Hockey and has raised over $120,000 through corporate sponsorships, admission proceeds, T-shirt sales, Chuck-A-Puck contests, honor sign sponsorships, and game-day collections...

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) has officially recognized the Pittsford Schools athletic program with the 2025 NIAAA Quality Program Recognition at the Exemplary Level, a distinction awarded to only a select number of high schools nationwide that demonstrate excellence in athletic program administration.

This prestigious honor is the result of a rigorous evaluation process, which involved a comprehensive review of Pittsford’s athletic policies, practices, procedures, and achievements across ten key categories of program quality.
