The goal of the PCSD Communication Office is to provide timely news and information to school district parents, residents, staff, the Pittsford community and anyone interested in Pittsford Schools. Information is shared through a variety of different channels, so staying connected is easy.

Staff Role in Communication
All staff in the District share a role in communicating information about our schools and the District. This includes interaction with students, parents, other staff members and the community. The Communication Office provides guidance and information on print and electronic communication on the District Branding Resources webpage.
Awards
The PCSD Communication Office is consistently recognized at the local, state and national levels with awards for its printed and online communications.
In 2024-25, the Communication Office received numerous awards including:
NSPRA Awards of Merit for the District Newsletter, Social Media, and Calendar of Schedules & Events
PRSA PRism Award for the District's Quarterly Printed Newsletter
NYSPRA Award of Excellence for a Social Media Campaign publicizing the BRMS musical, "Midnight at Midday: The Musical Tales of an Eclipse"
