CSE Meetings
Parents as Partners
You and your child are the most important members of the Committee on Special Education (CSE). Determining the most appropriate programs, services, supports and accommodations requires full participation from all members of the team. When each member is able to hear and to share different perspectives, and remain flexible, the CSE can respond to a student's changing needs over time.
CSE meetings have returned to in-person, although parents can request a remote meeting (via Zoom) by reaching out to their student's service coordinator, Student Services Teacher or the District Special Education office.
We provide CSE meeting information in advance for parents to review. CSE meeting packets are sent to parents via Frontline, which is a secure, password-protected system. Parents can request that a paper packet be sent by mail, if preferred.
