Policy Board
The Pittsford Teacher Center Policy Board is the governing body of the Pittsford Teacher Center. The Policy Board is comprised of representatives from each of the Pittsford Central schools, two private schools, administration, the Board of Education, the community, and an institution of higher education. By Education Law 316, the Board must be comprised of 51% teachers.
The Policy Board operates under the guidelines of the New York State Teacher Center standards and meets regularly to advise the Director, set policy, oversee the budget and program, and communicate to constituents.
