ClassLink is a single sign-on web program that has been designed to organize and streamline how our students are accessing educational programs. Certain applications, such as Office 365 and Seesaw, will automatically sign the students into the program while others will require them to enter a one-time username and password for quick and easy access each time after.
The browser extension is a critical part of using ClassLink at home and will require a one-time download of the extension on any personal computer. This extension is how ClassLink will automatically sign you into many of the instructional programs used in the district. Office 365 is a district-approved platform from Microsoft which provides cloud-based email and web-based Office apps for all of our students grades 3-12. Students can access Office 365 via ClassLink or with the login link below.
Office 365 includes three main components: OneDrive, PCSD email, and web-based Office apps such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
Students can work whenever, from wherever, provided there is an Internet connection
Allows students to easily share documents with teachers and each other
Allows students to collaborate on the same document while in different locations
Auto-save to the cloud reduces the confusion of where a file is saved
Files can be opened either in the web app or desktop version
1 TB of storage eliminates the need for flash drives
Students are provided with a district-approved PCSD Outlook email account.
Email functionality within a safe, approved environment
Students cannot send or receive emails outside of PCSD
Teachers and students can email each other

Microsoft Teams is an application which is part of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications. It is a Student Learning Management System that our teachers use for sending messages to students, sharing files, creating and sharing assignments, adding links, recording grades, encouraging collaboration, and video conferencing.
To access Teams, students can log in via ClassLink or via Office 365. Students can click on the Office 365 Login Link above to sign in. Student usernames for Office 365 are their school email addresses (firstname_lastname@students.pittsford.monroe.edu) and passwords are the same ones that are used to login to district computers.
