Pittsford Students Recognized Among Rochester’s Best Young Performers

Congratulations to Mendon High School students Addie Schulitz and Lily Archer, and Sutherland High School student Ainsley Teeters, who were recognized on May 20, 2026, as three of just 40 students nominated for the Rochester Broadway Theatre League’s Stars of Tomorrow New York City Bound Competition. Their nominations were earned through standout auditions during Mendon’s production of Ride the Cyclone and Sutherland’s production of Footloose.

Addie Schulitz (MHS) was also named a Top 20 performer and had the opportunity to perform before a panel of Broadway professionals for a chance to represent Rochester at the prestigious Jimmy Awards in New York City this June. She was selected as one of Rochester’s two official 2026 Jimmy Award nominees.

Ainsley Teeters (SHS) made it to the final round and sang as one of the top 10 finalists.
