About the Pittsford Central School District

Centralized in 1946, the Pittsford Central School District is one of the top school districts in the county, the state and the nation. The 30 square miles that comprise the school district include portions of the towns of Pittsford, Perinton, Penfield, Victor, Mendon and Brighton. The district's programs, staff and curriculum are considered among the best available in schools anywhere.

More than 1,150 employees including teachers, administrators, and support staff provide quality services for an enrollment of over 5,500 students in nine school buildings.

Mission, Core Values, and Vision Statement support Strategic Initiative

Thanks to the commitment and contributions of hundreds of stakeholders, important guideposts have been developed, and the result of this collaborative work is a set of reliable, steadfast, unwavering tools that gently remind us of what our District cherishes most (Values), why our District exists (Mission), and where we want our District to be (Vision).
