Mr. Myers

I grew up around the corner in Fairport, where I was almost always being active, playing different sports with friends and for school.  My favorite classes in grade school were Vocational Automotive, Principles of Engineering, US History, and of course Physical Education.  My passion for competitive games, physical activity and fitness, and the way sports brought people together led to my decision to pursue Physical Education as a career.  I wake up every day excited to share my passion with young people, and hopefully provide my students with an opportunity for self-expression and fun!

  • Have a great summer break!!!

    PRE Physical Education Students
I hope our PRE families will continue to use the resources on our PRE Physical Education Website through the summer!
Get outside and enjoy all of the opportunities that each day brings, to be healthy, to be immersed in nature, and to have fun!

    SHS Physical Education Students
June 8th through June 15th (at midnight) will be a journal make-up window for any students missing activity journals.  Continue to use the SHS PE website as a resource for finding new activities to try.  Students are allowed to submit the form multiple times if needed.
Remember to give detailed answers that include where you did the activity, who you did the activity with, for how long you were active, etc.  Example: "I walked the Canal Path with my sister and our dog for 45 minutes."
    Do not repeat activities.

If any students have questions about make-up journals, they should feel free to send me an email or...
...arrange a meeting with me via Zoom every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-3pm!!
(If they would like to meet via Zoom, the students should email me to set up a time.  I am available for times outside of 2-3pm if needed.)

I hope all of my students at SHS will have a great summer break.  Please feel free to reach out to me over the summer!
