Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to high school Physics! This is my 13th year teaching high school physics but first in Pittsford. I'm excited to share my love for physics with you in and outside the class to whatever capacity this year brings us. My wife and I reside in Pittsford with our two girls; Olivia and Kennedy, who are five and two respectively. I'm a member of the New York State Master Teacher Program, a STEP UP Ambassador through the American Physical Society, and I'm actively engaged in a program called QuarkNet. The STEP UP program is a group of physics educators whose mission is to inspire young women to enter the field of physics. Having two girls of my own, this mission hits very close to home. QuarkNet gives high school students the opportunity to participate in high energy physics research in the classroom. Outside of the classroom, you will find me riding my bike around the Rochester region during the Spring, Summer and Fall months and on the ski hill during the winter as I work part time as a race coach at Bristol Mountain.
