Melissa Julian, Principal


Ms. Melissa Julian has served in the Pittsford Central School District since 2015 when she was appointed the Director of Technology.  In 2018, she was named Principal of Mendon High School. 

Prior to joining the district, Ms. Julian was the Executive Principal at Cicero-North Syracuse High School in Onondaga County with 200 staff members and 2100 in grades 10-12. Before becoming principal, Ms. Julian served as both a House Principal and a Dean of Students. She started her career as an English teacher at the middle school and high school levels.   

Ms. Julian earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Textual Studies and English Education, as well as a master’s degree in Instruction, Design, Development, and Evaluation from Syracuse University.  She received her Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from SUNY Oswego. 

Ms. Julian is looking forward to working with the Mendon High School students and staff.
