Degrees and Certifications:
It is my honor and pleasure to serve as Superintendent of the Pittsford Central School District. Having worked in the District for more than 20 years—first as a teacher and principal at Barker Road Middle School, then as an assistant superintendent, and currently as superintendent—PCSD and all of the people who make up its greater community are near and dear to my heart. As a top-ranking school district in Monroe County and New York State, I am proud of our students, educators, and staff who exemplify the positive impact of quality education. More than 97% of our students go on to college, and while they follow their own unique paths in life, our alumni continue to say that their school years here continue to impact them in a positive way.
PCSD’s mission statement talks about working collaboratively to inspire and prepare our students to “be their best, do their best, and make a difference in the lives of others.” Effective communication is vital to the success of that collaboration. PCSD uses a variety of vehicles and platforms to communicate with the community, and I encourage you to connect with the District and stay up-to-date on all the wonderful things happening.
