 Global Studies 9 Class Objectives:

Global 9 is a cross-cultural, thematic and chronological examination of the modern era. From the Neolithic Revolution through the World at 1750, the course examines how individuals and events have shaped world history and contributed to the challenges humans have faced over time.

This year students will learn historical thinking skills while further building upon them in an effort to become respectful and engaged world citizens. Emphasis will be placed on reading primary and secondary documents, interpreting graphs and visuals, and writing research-based essays.
