This with just get marked for completion. For April 1st to April 8th, I would like you to go to Office 365 and go to the Teams link. You should see an Algebra 2 CC Team. Under Files, I have posted 3 videos on Trig Graphs. I also posted the blank worksheets in the files section. If for some reason those are hard to print, the same worksheets are posted on my webpage under Notes & HW. Do your best to watch the 3 videos and complete the homework for each of those lessons. Once you get those completed, send a picture or a scan of the completed homework.
AP Statistics: I have BIG news. The College Board announced that they are reducing the length of the AP Exam and the number of units on the exam. This means that you have already learned all the material in class. They will announce the new schedule for AP Exams by April 3rd. In summary, you will not be tested on the packet that I asked you to complete. You can look over old material and I will post Review Material once I get all the information from College Board.
AP Statistics: Here are some additional directions of how to plug the data into the calculator for the 1st problem in the packet.
For the chi-square goodness of fit, you would plug the count column and the expected column into the list and spreadsheet of the calculator. Don't forget to label the top of each column with a variable. Then MENU , 6:Statistics , 7:Stat Tests, 7: Chi-Square GOF, then use the variables that you picked for the observed list, expected list, and the degrees of freedom is "one-less" then the number of outcomes. For the dice problem, the degrees of freedom is 5, since you can get 6 different outcomes when rolling a die. I hope this helps and I hope everything is going well. Feel free to pass this along to any other students.
Also, this might help for additional understanding. https://www.khanacademy.org/math/ap-statistics/chi-square-tests
Again, feel free to look things up online or to e-mail your work to get further clarification on questions.
AP Statistics: I have posted a Unit 12 Packet in the Notes & HW section of the webpage. A hard copy of this packet is also available for pick-up on Tuesday in front of my room (room 306). More detailed instructions are on the front of this packet. Try to complete by April 5th, 2020.
Functions & Trig: This class is not an AP class or a required Regents class. I don't have any work that you need to complete. If you are possibly taking the Algebra 2 CC Regents Exam at the end of the year. I would suggest doing some practice Regents exams that are available online. You can just google search "old regents exams" and plenty of resources for solutions are on youtube or other sources online.
