EMCC Students Sign with Local Businesses at FLYAP Event
Last week, two students from Pittsford Schools participating in the EMCC Automated Manufacturing and Machining class had the opportunity to attend the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program (FLYAP) Signing Day.
Congratulations to Josephine DiFelice, who signed with Optimax Systems, and Jorge Alegria, who signed with Ultrafab!
Similar to athletic students signing their intent to play at college, the FLYAP Signing Day recognized student’s commitment to work with local businesses’ internships and co-op programs, which could potentially evolve into full-time paid positions after graduation.
