The safety and security of our students is the number one priority for Pittsford Schools. As part of our efforts, we have partnered with the "I Love U Guys" Foundation to lead administration and staff through training and tabletop exercises around the reunification of parents/guardians with their children in the event of a crisis situation. These trainings and exercises can better equip Pittsford Schools to respond to emergencies such as fires, floods, blizzards, power outages, or acts of violence, while maintaining a safe chain of custody for every student. Reviewing and practicing our standard response protocol and reunification method will help keep our students safe during an emergency and our staff prepared to put the plan into action.
