For the 19^th year, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation has named Pittsford Central School District one of the “Best Communities for Music Education.” Pittsford CSD is among 975 school districts nationwide to receive this award that recognizes outstanding support of music education and the role it plays in enriching the lives of children and advancing student achievement. 

The NAMM Foundation’s award program recognizes and celebrates outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
